Kevanta ("we", "us", or "our") operates kevanta.in and provides WhatsApp marketing, chatbot, and messaging automation services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, phone number, company name, and password (hashed) that you provide when you register.
- WhatsApp Business data — messages, contact lists, campaign definitions, templates, and delivery / read status that you push through your connected WhatsApp Business account.
- Billing information — plan, invoices, and payment references. Card / UPI details are handled by our payment processors (Razorpay, Stripe) and are never stored on our servers.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and log records generated when you use the platform.
- Cookies — session cookies to keep you signed in and analytics cookies to understand feature usage.
2. How we use your information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Kevanta platform.
- To deliver messages, campaigns, and chatbot responses through the WhatsApp Business API on your behalf.
- To bill you and communicate about your subscription.
- To provide support, respond to your requests, and send service notices.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- Meta Platforms / WhatsApp — as required to deliver messages you initiate through the WhatsApp Business API.
- Payment processors — to process subscription payments.
- Cloud infrastructure providers — to host the platform and store your data.
- Law enforcement or regulators — when required by law or valid legal process.
4. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Message logs, campaign reports, and contact lists are retained for the duration of your subscription and for up to 90 days after account closure to allow reactivation and to meet legal / accounting obligations. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
5. Security
We use TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest for sensitive credentials (WhatsApp access tokens, payment keys), role-based access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong password and enable two-factor authentication where available.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Access, correct, or export the personal data we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@kevanta.in. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Children
Kevanta is a B2B product and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than the one you reside in. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for cross-border transfers.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through an in-app notice at least 15 days before they take effect.
